Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an Innovation & Engineering Efficiency Leader to drive the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge technologies across our engineering organization. This role will lead our AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives, while also being responsible for organizational efficiency and continuous improvement programs. The ideal candidate is a technology-focused leader with strong hands-on experience in IT, AI/ML solutions, and advanced analytics, combined with a strategic mindset to transform how engineering teams operate, collaborate, and deliver value.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesLead and scale the AI, ML, and LLM engineering teams, fostering innovation, technical excellence, and high performanceDefine and execute the AI and advanced analytics roadmap, from ideation through production deploymentDrive the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, including generative AI, automation, and intelligent systemsPartner with engineering, IT, and business leaders to embed AI-driven solutions into core engineering and operational processesLead organizational efficiency initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and productivity improvement programsIdentify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency, quality, and speed through technology and data-driven insightsEstablish best practices for AI governance, scalability, security, and ethical useManage budgets, vendors, and technology partners related to AI and digital transformationMentor and develop technical leaders and teams, building a strong innovation cultureRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Strong background in IT and software engineering, with proven experience implementing AI, ML, and LLM-based solutions in production environmentsDemonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing technical teamsSolid understanding of cloud platforms, data architecture, MLOps, and AI lifecycle managementExperience leading digital transformation or organizational efficiency initiativesStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business valuePreferred QualificationsExperience with generative AI platforms, foundation models, and LLM orchestration frameworksKnowledge of process excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar)Background in engineering, industrial, or technology-driven organizationsExperience working in global or matrixed organizationsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No - This is a remote positionOriginally posted on Himalayas
