Job Description

The main purpose of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to generate and qualify outbound sales opportunities by initiating high-level, personalized outreach to prospective clients.As an SDR at Hustler Marketing, you will be responsible for building the top of the sales funnel from scratch through outbound prospecting efforts. This includes conducting in-depth research, crafting highly personalized outreach messages, and booking discovery meetings with qualified prospects.Unlike a Business Development Representative (BDR) role, this position focuses exclusively on outbound activity. You will not rely on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), but instead will proactively identify, research, and initiate conversations with potential clients.The SDR will report directly to the Sales Department Lead and collaborate closely with the Sales and Service Departments to ensure a smooth transition from prospecting to discovery and closing.About the Role:Mission statement:The primary mission of our Sales Development Representative is to consistently generate high-quality discovery meetings through strategic outbound prospecting, high-level personalization, and effective communication.This involves conducting thorough research on potential clients, crafting compelling and customized outreach messages, initiating meaningful conversations, qualifying prospects effectively, and successfully booking discovery calls that contribute directly to the company’s revenue growth.General Responsibilities: Conducting detailed research on prospective clients, including their brand, positioning, marketing activities, and potential service fitIdentifying and building targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting toolsCreating highly personalized outbound messages via LinkedIn and email (no mass-template automation approach)Writing medium-to-high-level sales copy focused on personalization, clarity, and conversionInitiating and managing outbound conversations with potential clientsQualifying prospects based on predefined criteria before booking discovery meetingsBooking and scheduling discovery meetings for the Sales TeamLeading initial discovery conversations when required (training will be provided)Maintaining and updating CRM records in HubSpot to ensure accurate tracking of outreach and pipeline activityManaging sequences and outreach flows inside HubSpot while maintaining a strong personalization-first approachContinuously testing and optimizing outreach messaging to improve reply and booking ratesTracking outreach KPIs and reporting on performance metricsResearching industry trends and staying up to date with developments in digital marketing and e-commerceCollaborating with the Sales and Service Departments to ensure alignment in messaging and targetingParticipating in sales meetings and performance reviewsContributing ideas to improve outbound systems, messaging frameworks, and prospecting strategiesPositions Specs: Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hoursAn average of 140 tracked hours per month consistentlyFixed-rate monthly salary paid in USDReceive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreementExclusivity agreement (nullifying the possibility to work in a position of a similar nature while working for Hustler Marketing)Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first two months (with the first two months being the trial-and-adaptation period paid at full rate)Regular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 monthsRequirementsAbout You: Profile:The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in an outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) role, preferably within a marketing agency or digital services environment.You should have at least 1–2 years of experience in outbound prospecting, demonstrating consistency and resilience in a high-performance sales environment. Experience generating leads from scratch (rather than working exclusively with MQLs) is strongly preferred.You must possess strong research skills, the ability to write persuasive and highly personalized outreach copy, and the confidence to lead or support discovery conversations with prospects.A completed higher education degree is considered a strong advantage.Key traits for this position:Showing high levels of self-motivation and being strongly results-driven, the ideal SDR demonstrates a structured and process-oriented approach to outreach. They possess a strong research and analytical mindset, allowing them to understand prospects deeply and tailor communication accordingly.
