Medical Transcriptionist (VA Disability Forms – Remote)

**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced medical transcriptionist to transcribe dictated content into VA disability forms (PDF format). This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with medical terminology. You will be working from audio dictation and entering information directly into structured PDF forms. Accuracy and formatting are critical. **Responsibilities:** * Transcribe audio dictation into VA disability PDF forms * Ensure accurate use of medical terminology * Maintain proper formatting within structured documents * Review and proofread completed work for errors * Meet agreed\-upon turnaround times **Requirements:** * Proven experience in medical transcription * Strong knowledge of medical terminology * Experience transcribing from dictation (not AI editing) * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to work with PDF forms and structured documents * Reliable turnaround time and communication **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with VA disability forms or medico\-legal documentation * Familiarity with physician dictation styles * HIPAA awareness/compliance **Compensation:** * Pay is per completed report, based on report length/complexity * Rates are predetermined and will be discussed with selected candidates * Ongoing work available for the right candidate **How to Apply:** Please include: * Your transcription experience (especially medical) * Typical turnaround time per report * A brief description of similar work completed **Important:** Only applicants with relevant medical transcription experience will be considered.
