### **Desktop Support Technician / IT Support Specialist \|\| Jackson, MS \|\| Onsite** We are looking for an experienced **Desktop Support Technician** to provide technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Windows, and Microsoft 365\. **Responsibilities:** * Provide onsite and remote IT support to employees. * Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices. * Install and configure Windows and Microsoft 365 applications. * Support Active Directory/Azure AD user accounts and permissions. * Respond to help desk requests by phone, chat, and in person. * Log and resolve issues using ticketing systems. * Set up equipment and accounts for new employees. * Maintain IT hardware and software inventory. * Escalate complex issues to senior system/network administrators. **Required:** * 1–4 years of IT Support/Desktop Support experience. * Windows 10/11 experience. * Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365\. * Desktop, laptop, and printer troubleshooting. * Basic Active Directory/Azure AD knowledge. * Basic networking: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP. * Strong communication and customer service skills. **Preferred:** CompTIA A\+, Network\+, Microsoft certifications, and PowerShell experience. **Bottom line:** This is a **hands\-on Level 1/Level 2 IT support role**, focused mainly on **Windows \+ hardware \+ Microsoft 365 \+ user support \+ basic networking/Active Directory**.
