In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity ToFoundational multi-category understanding including technical product knowledge, internal sourcing processes, cost drivers, related industry dynamics and market trendsCollaborate cross-functionally to support pricing strategy, demand forecasting, supplier selection, and contract executionExecute procurement activities across make-to-stock, make-to-order, and drop-ship models to ensure uninterrupted supplyAnalyze spend and demand trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and enhanced procurement strategiesPlace and manage purchase orders in alignment with production schedules and inventory objectivesManage and optimize inventory levels, balancing service levels with working capital objectivesSupport supplier performance management, including service, quality, and delivery metricsSupports contracting with regional direct and indirect suppliersManages the Approved Supplier ListFollows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US lawsComplies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethicsWhat You Need to Succeed in This PositionBachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience3–5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing or healthcare environmentand 1-2 years of contracting experienceERP software experience particularly, an in-depth knowledge of MRP preferredFamiliarity with total cost analysis conceptsExcellent understanding of statistical concepts used to formulate safety stock quantities to meet customer service levelsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing prioritiesExperience with implementing and maintaining a Lean Material Flow manufacturing environment is a plusAble to demonstrate a track record of accomplishments in supply chain managementHigh attention to detail, particularly in data accuracy and order executionExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office including, word, excel and OutlookCertification from APICS or ISM a plusWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer- and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status.
