Fractional Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable **Fractional Bookkeeper** to support our growing business with essential financial management tasks. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys flexible, part\-time work while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and organization. * 4\-8 hours of Controller responsibilities per week * Record and categorize all financial transactions accurately and promptly * Manage accounts payable, process bill payments, and track outstanding balances * Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date * Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts on a regular basis * Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements, including Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports * Support monthly financial review meetings by compiling data and summarizing key insights * Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed * Track and record payroll transactions and employee reimbursements * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and reporting requirements * Maintain organized digital financial records for audits and internal reviews * Monitor cash flow and highlight any variances or irregularities to management * Collaborate with external accountants, CPAs, and tax preparers to support quarterly and year\-end filings * Recommend process improvements and help implement best practices for financial efficiency * **Qualifications:** * 2\+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (QuickBooks or similar software preferred) * Strong knowledge of general accounting principles * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Strong communication and problem\-solving skills Experience working with small businesses or startups a plus Job Types: Part\-time, Contract Pay: $35\.00 \- $45\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
