Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team, supporting the development and deployment of our next-generation AI-powered cloud-based products. In this role, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and automated test solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our cloud platform. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other SDETs to design and implement robust cloud test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation tools. The successful candidate will flourish making meaningful contributions and elegant solutions, be determined, and manage major turning points independently in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll DoDefine and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with team goals and product evolution Act as a subject matter expert in test strategy and tooling within your domainDesign and manage automated testing suites, including CI/CD pipeline developmentValidate deployments across multiple cloud environmentsWork closely with development to improve the quality of the productWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in Software Development in Test with a strong focus on cloud automationProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java)Experience with test automation tools and frameworksStrong understanding of software architecture, APIs, SDKs, and system integration testingFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environmentsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have SkillsFamiliarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch)Experience with BDDAWS: S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearchExposure to security testing, performance testing, and regression strategiesDocker containerCompensation & BenefitsAt Magnet Forensics, we are committed to fair and consistent pay practices for our student roles.
