As the Bookkeeper, you will assist in the operations of a large childcare center and related entities as a key support member to the leadership team, reporting directly to the Development Director. The ideal candidate will help bring order and organization within a dynamic, fast\-paced environment. This position is a flexible hybrid\-remote work setup with onsite meetings required a few times each week. #### **Duties include:** * Reconcile bank records to QuickBooks Online (QBO). * Categorize all transactions with Location for proper reporting. * Reconcile agency transactions with Enrollments \& Attendance to ensure accurate payments. * Publish Profit \& Loss reports weekly as needed, and Balance Sheets monthly. * Prepare \& process payroll every 2weeks. * Prepare \& process billing statements, as well as prepare collection notices. * Prepare books for tax submissions and track reporting deadlines. * Observe trends with ideas to reduce spending and improve operational efficiency. * Ad hoc projects as assigned. * Willing to help coworkers, students and parents as needed. #### **The successful candidate will possess:** * Passion for accuracy and order. * Excellent computer skills. * Able to multitask in a fastpaced environment. * Effective at working with people of all backgrounds and cultures. * Exceptional communication skills with closedloop followup. * Experience using QuickBooks Online or other accounting software. * Track record of reliable attendance and confidentiality. * Must have a good sense of humor and patience.
