This is a fully remote teaching position designed for an educator who is passionate about English instruction and thrives in a virtual learning environment. The teacher will support students in grades 6–12 across multiple course levels, including Advanced Placement, through a combination of asynchronous instruction and live, synchronous interactions, providing personalized guidance, feedback, and academic support. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families, and a deep understanding of English curriculum and instruction. Teachers at Laurel Springs support a roster of students in primarily asynchronous courses while providing live instruction, academic coaching, and individualized support as needed. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with the English Academic Department Chair and fellow educators, and includes active participation in curriculum review, development, and program enhancement.
