Certified Public Accountant

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic public accounting team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting, tax law, and financial analysis to support our organization’s financial health and compliance. Primarily work from home, flexible schedule. Minimal on\-site required: currently 5\-10 hours per month maximum, for purposes of client meetings. Duties * Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements. Assist with managing and reviewing work of junior level bookkeepers. * Conduct comprehensive tax return preparation and ensure compliance with tax laws: 1040, 1065, 1120S. * Provide client communication on complex financial concepts \- review monthly financials, assist with budgeting. Qualifications * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required * Extensive experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on tax compliance and financial reporting. * Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax law, securities law, regulatory compliance accounting, and technical accounting standards. * Proficiency in QuickBooks online and desktop * Demonstrated expertise in tax reporting, individual tax preparation, corporate tax strategies, and tax law interpretation. * Effective client communication skills to review monthly financials and tax returns, when needed Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high accuracy in a fast\-paced environment.
