Medical Biller– Remote (Florida only) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail\-oriented Medical Biller to join our billing team. You will focus entirely on Orthopedics and Spine specialties. This position is 100% remote but must be in Florida and have a private, HIPAA complaint home office space with high\-speed internet. You must have deep experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW). You must also understand the complex billing rules for spine surgeries and orthopedic care. Key Responsibilities: * Claim Submission: Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies electronically. * Coding Verification: Review ICD\-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for orthopedic and spine surgeries. * Denial Management: Identify denial patterns, file appeals, and resolve claim discrepancies. * AR Follow\-Up: Monitor accounts receivable reports and pursue unpaid claims past 30 days. Required Qualifications * Location: Must currently reside in the state of Florida. * Experience: Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience specifically in Orthopedics and Spine. * Software: Minimum of 2 years of hands\-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW). * Surgical Knowledge: Strong understanding of complex spine surgery coding, global periods, and modifiers (e.g., modifiers 51, 59, 62\). * Workspace: A dedicated, quiet home office with high\-speed internet. Skills \& Competencies * Excellent knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Workers' Comp, and Personal Injury Protection (PIP). * Strong communication skills to speak with insurance adjusters. * High accuracy in data entry and strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
