This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company committed to excellence and integrity. **Duties** * Record and reconcile financial transactions using advanced spreadsheets and financial software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports, including ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Assist with tax accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. * Support auditing activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial records. * Develop and refine financial models to support mergers \& acquisitions, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives. * Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and industry\-specific financial regulations across all accounting practices. * Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to communicate financial data clearly and effectively. * Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, verifying invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding balances. * Contribute to financial regulatory compliance efforts by staying current on relevant laws and industry best practices. * Assist in project management tasks related to finance initiatives, ensuring timely completion of deliverables. **Experience** * Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for analysis and reporting. * Experience developing financial models for various business scenarios including mergers \& acquisitions. * Familiarity with financial software platforms used for bookkeeping, accounting, and regulatory compliance. * Knowledge of GAAP standards, tax accounting procedures, and industry\-specific financial regulations. * Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. * Prior involvement in auditing processes or supporting audit activities is highly desirable. * Excellent client communication skills to explain financial information clearly and professionally. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within project management frameworks while maintaining attention to detail.
