Full-Stack Engineering Intern

**About the Role** We're looking for a full\-stack engineering intern to build real features in our TypeScript monorepo. You'll work across our SvelteKit dashboard and Fastify API, shipping user\-facing functionality end\-to\-end with hands\-on mentorship from a senior engineer. This isn't a tutorial project — it's a large, production platform — but tasks are scoped so you can contribute meaningfully from week one. **What You'll Do** * Ship 2–4 scoped features with tests over the course of the internship * Contribute to our shared component library (ui\-lib) and dashboard\-client routes * Build end\-to\-end CRUD features using our code\-generation tooling * Write unit tests (Vitest) and pair on Playwright smoke tests * Work on i18n strings, UI polish, and Tailwind migration cleanup **You Should Have** * Solid programming fundamentals: data structures, debugging, reading unfamiliar code * Comfort writing and reading JavaScript or TypeScript * Web basics: HTTP, REST, JSON, HTML/CSS * Git branch / commit / PR workflow experience * Experience with at least one frontend framework — React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte (any is fine; Svelte is learnable in 1–2 weeks with mentorship) * Some backend exposure — Node.js, Python (Flask/FastAPI), or similar — having built or extended an API endpoint * Database basics: SQL queries, tables, relationships (coursework or project\-level is fine) * A growth mindset — you ask questions, welcome code review, and finish small tasks before expanding scope **Bonus Points** * TypeScript experience in a real project (not just \`any\` everywhere) * Component\-based UI work: forms, tables, modals * Tailwind CSS or another utility\-first CSS framework * At least one unit test written (Jest, Vitest, etc.) * Familiarity with monorepo tooling (pnpm/npm workspaces, Turborepo) — even just reading about it counts * Hands\-on experience developing with AI coding tools — Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or Claude Code — and a sense for when to lean on them versus write code by hand **You'll Learn on the Job** SvelteKit, Fastify, Sequelize, Zod validation, TanStack Query, our internal component library, and how a production SaaS platform is structured and operated day to day. **Not Required** * Production experience * Domain knowledge of Manticore, OpenSearch, or the marketplace/IP space * Terraform, Helm, or Kubernetes operations experience **How We Support You** * A named senior engineer as your primary mentor, with daily async support and 2–3 sync check\-ins per week * PR reviews within 24 hours * Pre\-scoped starter tickets so you can ramp up with confidence in your first month * Weekly goal\-setting to keep scope focused and momentum steady Embark on your software engineering journey with us—where innovation meets opportunity!
