Implementation Engineer (Public Warning)

This is a fully remote/home-based role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Hungary with international travel required to support customer deployments. You’ll contribute to life-saving public warning technology used by governments and organizations around the world.What you'll do: Deploy and integrate Public Warning solutions (Cell Broadcast & Location-Based SMS)Configure and maintain software in Linux production environmentsWork with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), customers, and project teamsPerform system configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshootingCreate technical documentation and deliver customer trainingSupport global deploymentsWhat you'll bring: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience3–5 years of hands-on Linux administration in production environmentsStrong understanding of IP networking, VPNs, and security principlesExperience with cloud, containers, and automation (e.g., AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform)Experience with databases and scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience working directly with customers and producing technical documentationFluent English (additional languages a plus)Willingness to travel as neededNice to have: Mobile network experience (Cell Broadcast, RAN/Core, LTE/5G)CI/CD, monitoring & logging toolsLinux or Cisco certifications (e.g. CCNA)About EverbridgeEverbridge empowers enterprises and government organizations to anticipate, mitigate, respond to, and recover stronger from critical events.
