Job Description
Reporting to the SVP, Global Supply Chain, this role provides strategic leadership for Assurant’s International Supply Chain operations, including all related products and services such as asset disposition. The position oversees International Claims Cost Management, Alternative Fulfillment, Trade‑In/Upgrade programs, and Device Disposition initiatives to deliver an exceptional customer experience, strengthen competitive advantage, and improve operational efficiency in a dynamic environment. This leader also ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all countries and regions where Supply Chain operations are active.This is a remote role with up to 75% international travel expected.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Lead the development and execution of long‑range and annual International Supply Chain strategies across Connected Living businesses, including Insurance, Trade‑In, Upgrade, and DispositionProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to International Supply Chain teams to meet inventory, turnaround time, quality, and cost goals aligned with organizational objectives and Annual Operating PlansDeliver weekly updates to senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders on financial performance, planning, and operational executionManage all global outsourced contract manufacturing and repair activities, including international suppliers and U.S. repair partnersExpand walk‑in repair operations and partner with U.S. Service Delivery to implement best practicesApply supply chain strategies that drive growth, operational impact, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environmentDevelop and implement processes, platforms, and standards for demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning to maximize asset value globallyMaintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure transparent, compliant, and well‑documented supply chain operationsEvaluate and approve key Supply Chain M&A opportunities related to repair, refurbishment, and device processing outside the U.S.Partner with IT to define technology needs and deploy systems that optimize each stage of the supply chain; establish operational standards, improve planning, strengthen warehousing and inventory control, and support timely, compliant distributionSupport implementation of common IT platforms for production planning, procurement, and advancement of supply chain strategies and processesCollaborate across departments to develop unified requirements, streamline business processes, and leverage supplier relationships and spendBuild tools and processes to improve data collection, flow, and analytics for informed decision‑making at all levelsOversee the evaluation, contracting, implementation, and ongoing management of warehousing, logistics, and distributed supply chain networks to ensure business and regulatory complianceLead development of supply chain guidelines, documentation, and training modulesPerform other duties as needed to support the success of Assurant SolutionsWhat are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field15+ years of senior‑level supply chain management experience10+ years of experience in logistics, production, or manufacturing operations15+ years of people‑leadership experience with a proven ability to develop teams and implement supply chain strategiesDeep expertise in logistics, including warehousing, procurement specifications, RFP/RFQ processes, bid evaluation, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract managementDemonstrated success leading strategic supply chain functions within the wireless industryWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field)Experience leading international supply chain operations across multiple regions or regulatory environmentsBackground managing large‑scale outsourced manufacturing, reverse logistics, or device lifecycle programsProven success implementing global technology platforms for planning, procurement, or production operationsExpertise in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)#AssurantProudEBPay Range:$201,100.00 - $335,800.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.If there is no posting end date listed then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.Helping People Thrive in a Connected World
