Stronger together, we promote an environment where individuals can thrive.Aviation Account Manager | Airports & FBOsLocation: Remote, Southeast U.S. PreferredIdeal locations include Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or the Washington, D.C. region.Build Relationships That Keep Aviation MovingWorld Fuel is seeking a relationship-driven Aviation Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of airport and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) partnerships throughout the Southeast United States.This highly visible role combines account management, business development, aviation expertise, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for retaining and growing existing airport and FBO partnerships while identifying new opportunities to expand the adoption of World Fuel's Contract Fuel, AVCARD, Retail, Rewards, and aviation service solutions.Success in this role comes from building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities through data analysis, and helping aviation partners maximize the value of their relationship with World Fuel.If you're passionate about aviation, enjoy working directly with customers, and thrive in a relationship-focused sales environment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoManage and Grow Existing PartnershipsManage a portfolio of airport and FBO partners across a multi-state Southeast territory.Retain and strengthen existing customer relationships across World Fuel products and services.Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and strategic account planning sessions.Improve customer satisfaction and enhance ease of doing business with World Fuel.Serve as a trusted advisor to airport and FBO partners.Drive Revenue GrowthIncrease fuel volume, profitability, and overall partner performance.Expand adoption of Contract Fuel, AVCARD, Retail, Rewards, and related aviation solutions.Identify opportunities to increase market share within existing accounts.Support sales initiatives designed to grow customer engagement and product utilization.Achieve territory sales, revenue, and profitability goals.Develop New Business OpportunitiesIdentify and secure new airport and FBO partnerships.Build relationships with airport operators, FBO leadership, and aviation stakeholders.Conduct outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities throughout the territory.Represent World Fuel at aviation conferences, customer events, and industry meetings.Use Data to Identify OpportunitiesAnalyze customer activity, fuel volumes, pricing trends, and market performance.Use Excel, Salesforce, and reporting tools to identify growth opportunities.Evaluate account performance and create strategies to improve results.Monitor competitive activity and market trends.Collaborate Across the BusinessPartner closely with Flight Department Sales Teams and Bulk Sales Teams.Work with Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams.Coordinate product optimization, customer training, and account support efforts.Share market intelligence and customer feedback to help drive business decisions.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of aviation industry experience.3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, business development, or commercial roles.Experience building and managing customer relationships.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.Preferred QualificationsExperience within:Fixed Base Operators (FBOs)AirportsBusiness AviationGeneral AviationCharter OperationsAviation Fuel ServicesAviation Service ProvidersExperience selling aviation products or services.Familiarity with Contract Fuel, AVCARD, fuel programs, or aviation payment solutions.What Makes You SuccessfulYou are someone who:Is highly self-motivated and results-oriented.Builds relationships naturally and enjoys networking.Is comfortable speaking to groups and delivering customer presentations.Enjoys analyzing data to uncover business opportunities.Can influence customers and stakeholders through consultative selling.Thrives in a relationship-driven industry.Balances multiple priorities and customers effectively.Enjoys being visible in the aviation community.TravelModerate travel throughout the Southeast territory.Customer visits, airport meetings, indu
