US Freight Broker - Experienced (Freight Operations)

We are a fast\-growing 4PL/3PL provider offering Managed Transportation (freight brokerage) services across the US. We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead day\-to\-day operations and own customer relationships within our US freight brokerage division. This isn't a support seat. You'll run a book of accounts, grow them, and be accountable for the numbers behind them. **Roles \& Responsibilities** Account Leadership * Own and manage a portfolio of customer accounts as the primary point of contact * Grow existing accounts: identify new lanes, added volume, and service expansion opportunities * Lead recurring account reviews with customers covering performance, pricing, and upcoming needs * Handle escalations end to end and keep customers ahead of problems, not reacting to them Operations * Direct daily brokerage operations: carrier booking, load coverage, tracking, and exception management * Build and maintain a reliable carrier network on your lanes, negotiating rates that protect margin * Own TMS data integrity for your accounts (entries, statuses, documentation) * Oversee carrier invoice review, POD collection, and clean handoff to billing, resolving discrepancies before they hit the customer KPI Ownership * Own account\-level KPIs: on\-time pickup/delivery, tender acceptance, margin per load, claims ratio, and invoice accuracy * Report performance trends internally and flag at\-risk accounts early with a plan, not just a warning **Requirements** * 5\+ years of US\-based logistics / freight brokerage / freight forwarding experience, with direct account management or customer\-facing ownership * Proven track record managing carrier relationships and negotiating rates * Excellent English communication skills.
