With a proven track record of success in competitive markets, the individual applies strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive results.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and treatment protocols, and is able to critically evaluate the benefits and limitations of different therapeutic options (e.g., efficacy, dosing, duration, cost considerations). Engages in meaningful scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals and asks insightful questions to strengthen understanding.
Serves as a designated technical specialist for assigned products and therapeutic areas, specifically breast oncology and gastroenterology, as well as patient needs, facilitating thorough education and meaningful engagement with key stakeholders.
Proactively identifies business challenges and opportunities, develops appropriate solutions, and communicates recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing leadership.
Demonstrates strong understanding of external market dynamics and internal organizational processes, and effectively navigates cross-functional structures to execute business plans.
Works independently with a high level of accountability, demonstrating initiative and ownership in driving performance and results.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (BA or BS) requiredTypically 6–8 years of relevant pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experienceMinimum of 4 years in specialty sales or within the relevant therapeutic areaAt least 2 years of experience as a Therapeut
