We work closely with people, partners, and the business to enable smart, sustainable decision-making.We are looking for a Head of Finance & Procurement to join us. In this role, you will lead our controlling, financial, and procurement operations, ensure high-quality reporting, support strategic decision-making, and enable efficient, compliant, and value-adding processes across the organization.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILLProvide strategic leadership and governance across Finance and ProcurementAdvise and partner with Managing Directors and Executive Board members as a trusted co‑pilot on finance and procurement mattersLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash management, and risk management activitiesEnsure high-quality, timely statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP (SNC) and group consolidation requirementsOwn month-end and year-end financial closing, coordinating with shared services, outsourced accounting, and treasury partnersMonitor financial performance by preparing and presenting monthly KPIs, insights, and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadershipDefine and oversee procurement strategies, ensuring compliant and value-driven processes across sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and cost optimizationMaintain internal policies and ensure compliance with internal and external requirementsRepresent Finance & Procurement in strategic discussions, risk assessments, and financial governance forumsLead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary Finance & Procurement team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growthBe responsible for hiring, onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes within the teamRequirementsTO SUCCEED YOU NEEDUniversity degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; local CPA certification is strongly preferredNative-level Portuguese and fluent English (C1), written and spoken is mandatoryMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management including people leadershipStrong experience in financial statement preparation, management reporting, and in-depth financial analysisExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levelsMedium to advanced MS Excel skills and basic experience with Power AutomateAbility to align financial strategies with broader business objectivesStrong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire trust and build strong relationshipsHigh ability to learn and operate effectively in a hybrid setupTHERE WILL BE BIG SMILES IF YOUHold a recognized finance certification such as CPA or equivalentHave experience in procurement or close collaboration with procurement functionsHave worked with AI tools for predictive forecasting, reporting automation, or process optimizationBring an entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skillsHave experience in agile, digital product, or technology-driven environmentsYOU WILL BE HAPPY WITHOpen source softwareNo top-down hierarchy.
