Email Operations Intern

The End User & Collaboration Services Team at Leidos currently has an opening for an Email Operations Intern. In this role, you will assist our Email Operations Administrators with the daily support and administration of our Exchange Online M365 GCC-High cloud environment, as well as supporting Teams in the cloud, with a focus on maintaining SLO/SLA operational support and coordinating with our Unified Communications Engineering Staff to support our Leidos employees worldwide.Location: RemotePrimary Responsibilities:Review system logs and dashboards proactively to help identify/troubleshoot issuesFamiliarize yourself with Splunk and assist team with improving/optimizing team dashboardsAssist Email Operations Administrators with operational patching proceduresIdentify and recommend areas of improvement regarding Email Operations support and best practicesReview Email Operations documentation and assist with updates, as neededAssist with development of PowerShell scripts that improve efficiency through automationGenerate Summaries/Reports and assist with Email and Teams related trouble ticket resolutionAssist team members with various projects and tasks on an as-needed basisBasic Qualifications:Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programUS citizenship requiredCoursework or technical certification related to Information TechnologyStrong interest in or exposure to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange and/or Microsoft TeamsStrong soft skills in organization, communications and teamworkInterest in supporting IT Service Delivery in a large-scale Enterprise environmentPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience or familiarity with US Government IT Security principles such as NIST, CUI CDI, ITAR, FedRamp, GCC-High:Some understanding/knowledge of PowerShell scriptingHands-on knowledge and experience with Outlook/Teams client functionality and usageIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
