To learn more, visit www.corcept.com.The Global Event Leadership team is seeking a highly collaborative professional to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of congress-related activities, exhibits, and B2B/B2C engagements.Global Event Leadership (GEL) serves as a strategic partner in delivering capabilities that accelerate value to patients, while the Sr. Manager, Congress Planning (SMCP) provides centralized, compliant, end-to-end support for meetings and congresses across Corcept.Within this structure, the SMCP is responsible for delivering high-quality congress exhibits and sponsorships that ensure seamless execution, strong alignment with business strategy, and a consistent customer experience.This role partners closely with business units, therapeutic area teams, and external vendors to drive, operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency across all congress activities.Responsibilities:Business PartnershipServe as the primary congress liaison for assigned Business Units/therapeutic areasBuild and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and vendor partnersAttend key strategy meetings to ensure congress activities align with overall BU/brand strategyPartner with business teams to develop the annual congress plan, including:Congress selectionBudget planning and forecastingProvide recommendations on congress participation based on business needs, brand lifecycle, attendee engagement, and market dynamicsHelp identify the optimal mix of congress activities to meet objectives while improving efficiency and reducing spendPlanning & ExecutionLead end-to-end planning and execution of congress exhibits, sponsorships, and related engagement activitiesCoordinate cross-functional teams (brand, medical, advocacy, compliance, legal, regulatory, finance, procurement, and vendors) to ensure successful deliveryDefine strategy, content, and ancillary tactics, including:Product theatersSymposiaSpeaker programsHCP dinner engagementsSchedule and lead kick-off, status, and wrap-up meetings with stakeholdersCreate resource guides to support internal participation during pre-planning and onsite executionEnsure consistent brand messaging, customer experience, and flawless delivery across all congress activitiesBudget & Vendor ManagementOwn and manage congress budgets, forecasts, and booth strategies to ensure alignment with business priorities and financial targetsAct as the primary Corcept contact for congress associations and vendor partnersDrive timelines, deliverables, and exhibit readiness across the annual congress calendarIdentify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and process improvements while communicating budget considerations to stakeholdersTravel onsite, as required, to support congress executionProvide training and guidance to booth staff, including compliance requirementsLead onsite booth walk-throughs with compliance, legal, and regulatory partnersCompliance & GovernanceEnsure all congress activities comply with global policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMaintain audit readiness and support compliance-related requestsManage required documentation, including approvals, booth designs, and required system uploadsOperations & Process ImprovementSupport congress planning using enterprise systems and tools (e.g., Cvent, SAP, MS Office)Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of workingPromote consistency across brands and reduce duplication of effortLead through influence in a cross-functional environmentPreferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:Experience supporting brand or medical strategy executionCongress or event planning experienceBudget management and business planning experienceWorking knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirementsExperience with tools such as MS Office 365, SAP, Cvent, and project management platformsPreferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5–7 years of experience in:Pharmaceutical industry, and/orCongress/event management, and/or strategic project managementTravel: ~25% (including some weekends)The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $130,230 - $172,350; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic loca
