**Job Overview**
Our Local Church is seeking a part time Bookkeeping Secretary. Experience in Power Church is helpful. This individual must have general bookkeeping and payroll knowledge. The ideal candidate must have a heart for service and be willing to work with direct, remote, supervision yet be able to work independently on a regular basis. This individual will be a problem solver that can think in and out of the box. Through everyday interactions and throughout their career, this ideal candidate will understand this position is in a Community Church. Jesus is in the center of everything we do. While the training hours will be different, this person will be required to be in person, in the church office, 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday. It would be preferable that those hours be from 10 am \- 2pm, but we are flexible if the needed hours are within normal business hours and may be generally set to the same ones each week during certain periods throughout the year. We are negotiable on when these hours are set so this position could be ideal for a wide variety of candidates with other daily responsibilities. The position comes with 1 week (20 hours) paid vacation and paid holidays on New Years Day, Good Friday, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. The pay is $16/hour and the individual will work 20 hours a week. All position inquiries need to go to Pastor Rob Ashmall. **Qualifications Desired**
* Proven office experience with strong clerical skills.
* Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
* Experience with data entry, filing systems, proofreading, and document management.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
* Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs better.
* Knowledge of front desk operations, multi\-line phone systems, and phone etiquette is essential.
* Previous experience as a bookkeeper, medical or dental receptionist, or personal assistant is a plus.
* Familiarity with office management software such as Power Church or bookkeeping tools is advantageous.
* Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional communication abilities—both verbal and written—are critical for success in this role.
