**Introduction** ---------------- The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) is recruiting to fill a Data and Reporting Specialist, within the Bureau of Eligibility and Enrollment Policy (BEEP). This position has the ability to work remotely up to 5 days per week but may be required to report to an office location on occasion to complete certain tasks. This position can be headquartered at one of our central or regional offices. This schedule may vary based on training or operational need. Your focus will be on conducting Medicaid and FoodShare data analysis in support of program goals, which includes data definition, extraction, and validation. You are also responsible for report development and presentation, and providing oversight, training and consultation to contractors and staff. Additionally, you will: * work with data users, Division personnel, and contractors to justify, develop, produce and evaluate appropriate reporting options. * produce detailed business requirement specifications, coordinate systems/data integration, identify issues including data inconsistencies, develop report layouts and outputs, document production and outputs, conduct user training and correspond with outside entities. * use various system applications, business intelligence, and data reporting tools.
