Job Description

Job Summary We are building a new department at CPM and are looking for a forward-thinking senior level Back End Engineer & Tech Lead to play a key role in the continued development, refinement and scaling of our SaaS products that enhance the performance, efficiency and serviceability of industrial equipment. You’ll work closely with the Digital Products Team and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable and well-documented software. Your focus will be on back-end development and deployment of the applications. This department is pivotal in the digital transformation across our product lines, integrating IoT, predictive analytics and AI/ML and remote monitoring capabilities to deliver smarter, connected equipment solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and support software engineersContinuing development of our SaaS applicationRefactor and polish existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainabilityImplement new features based on product roadmap and customer feedbackWrite and maintain unit tests and technical documentationCollaborate with other developers and teams Support customer technical issuesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (technical master’s preferred)10+ years of professional experience as a SW / back end developerProficient in Java (Spring), SQL, DockerExperience in TerraformExperience in AWSExperience with REST APIs, unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelinesStrong communication and documentation habitsExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsFluent in English; Dutch is a plus Preferred SkillsExperience with industrial software, IoT, or edge-device integrationProficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Google Analytics, or similar is a plusOther programming languages or frameworks are a plus Why Join Us?Contribute to an impactful product in the industrial technology spaceBe part of a motivated, close-knit teamOpportunity to shape technical direction and mentor junior developersFlexible working conditions and growth potentialRemote-first working modelCompetitive salar27 vacation days plus 13 ATV days (total of 40 days off)Excellent pension scheme, with CPM covering 60-70% of the premiumCPM Acquisition Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
