This is a remote position.AV SERVICE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Location: Remote Compensation: $125,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission About the OpportunityAre you aproven AV sales hunter with a passion for building new client relationships and generating recurring service revenue?We are seeking a high-energy AV Service Business Development Manager to drive growth within a rapidly expanding AV services and managed services organization. This role focuses on acquiring new service contracts, expanding market presence, and developing long-term relationships with enterprise, corporate, education, entertainment clients and technology clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, developing new business, and closing service agreements.Key Responsibilities:Business Development SalesIdentify, prospect, and secure new AV service contracts, including maintenanceagreements, managed services, help desk support, system monitoring, and event support, and lifecycle management programs.Execute high-volume outbound business development activities through coldcalling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events.Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.Drive new revenue growth through consultative selling and relationshipdevelopment.Meet and exceed sales goals, revenue objectives, and key performance metrics.Client Relationship Management:Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, AV Managers, FacilitiesDirectors, and other key decision-makers.Understand client business objectives and recommend service solutions thatimprove system performance, reliability, and user experience.Present service offerings, proposals, and value-driven business cases.Negotiate and close service agreements while maintaining long-term clientrelationships.Industry Engagement:Represent the company at AV industry events, trade shows, networkingfunctions, and professional associations.Stay current on AV technology trends, market developments, and competitiveofferings.Identify new market opportunities and emerging service needs.Collaboration Reporting:Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline activity, and sales reporting.Collaborate closely with sales, service, operations, engineering, and marketingteams.Participate in strategic planning and market development initiatives.Qualifications Required:5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the AV / ProAV industry.Proven track record developing new business and securing service,maintenance, support, or managed services contracts.Strong understanding of AV technologies and solutions.Experience selling into enterprise, corporate, education, transportation,healthcare, hospitality, or public sector environments.Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-buildingskills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.Preferred:CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification.Experience working for an AV integrator, manufacturer, managed servicesprovider, or technology services organization.Familiarity with QSC, Extron, Shure, Biamp, Pixera, ISSAC, and DV-LEDtechnologies.Experience supporting transportation, airport, or other mission-criticalenvironments.Compensation and Benefits:$125,000 Base SalaryAggressive Uncapped Commission PlanMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Wellness ProgramsPaid HolidaysThree weeks of paid time offPaid Parental LeaveCareer Growth OpportunitiesCollaborative Team EnvironmentIf you have a proven history of building relationships, generating new business, and closing AV service opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.Work Location: Remote Originally posted on Himalayas
