Key Responsibilities
Conduct a structured review of research and industry resources (e.g. scientific journal articles, briefs and reports, presentations, news) published within the last ten years on health-related building strategies, utilizing USGBC research compilation infrastructure (inSIGHT tool).
Categorize supporting evidence to feed into USGBC’s inSIGHT tool, including consistent tagging aligned to team topics of interest and labeling resources by type and rigor of evidence to support different internal use cases.
Test and assess the USGBC inSIGHT tool workflow for consistency and quality, identify gaps, issues, and practical improvements, and refine the configuration of the tool to optimize performance.
Revise a short standard operating procedure (SOP) for the information-gathering process based on your assessment and refinement of the inSIGHT tool workflow.
Synthesize research review findings into an internal memo on the status of current supporting evidence and trends of importance related to health-promoting building design, highlighting 1) what is well evidenced and what needs further research, and 2) emerging trends of the past decade.
Provide related synthesis and updates as needed, for recurring check-ins on progress and final deliverable takeaways.
