This role has a specific focus on contract intelligence, vendor performance, and procurement decision support - translating operational data from OneSource and ServiceMax into actionable insights that drive smarter contracting decisions. The Data Analyst duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success.Job Responsibilities:Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate, define, and go live with new process improvement opportunitiesVendor Performance & Capability InsightsProvide visibility into vendor performance beyond individual assets - analyzing trends across asset classes, sites, and regions, including response times and resolution ratesSupport identification of appropriate vendors when assets are not on contract, enabling comparisons based on capability, speed of response, and repeat visit ratesDefine What Good Looks Like for Contract RecommendationsSpecify and maintain mandatory elements for every contract recommendation, including: contract status and entitlement, warranty position, asset criticality and utilization, failure and downtime history, and strategic supplier linkageContract Data Ownership & QualityOwn the contract data model linking assets, contracts, entitlements, and work orders; identify and take accountability for data qualityMaintain system linkage between contract records and operational performance data, ensuring integrity across connected platformsContract Decision RulesTranslate operational practice into structured decision logic covering: non-negotiable rules (warranty, regulatory), best-practice guidance (risk-based coverage), prioritisation logic (criticality vs redundancy vs cost vs uptime), and retrospective review logic to assess whether the right contract decisions have historically been made - including ad hoc vs contract spend analysisBasic Qualifications:Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsBachelors Degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience ORAssociates Degree and 7+ years of relevant work experience ORHighschool Diploma and 10+ years of relevant work experiencePreferred Experience:Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data AnalystBS in Mathematics, Economics,
