**About Viceroy** Viceroy is a software first small business that builds purpose\-built SaaS platforms for federal agencies and commercial clients using our proprietary Trunnion Declarative Agentic Framework (DAF). Our portfolio spans defense, manufacturing, waste and fleet operations, and event technology. We hold an active federal contracting record across the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, CBP, and BOP. Our engineers don't maintain legacy code. They build the future. **The Role** We're looking for a skilled, self\-directed Full Stack Engineer to join our remote team. You'll design, build, and ship production\-grade features across our AI\-powered SaaS suite, working directly with our Director of Software and AI Development and Chief Product Officer. This is a hands\-on IC role for someone energized by greenfield development who's ready to own features end\-to\-end from architecture through deployment. You won't be handed a ticket queue. You'll help define what gets built and how. **What You'll Build** * Full\-stack features across React and Node.js\-based SaaS applications, from UI through API layer * AI agent workflows using Trunnion DAF, connecting LLM services, external APIs, and internal data pipelines * Scalable backend services and data models supporting multi\-tenant deployments for commercial and federal customers * Well\-documented, maintainable code reviewed alongside a tight\-knit engineering team * Contributions to federal delivery work including ATO\-related documentation where applicable **Required Qualifications** * Professional full stack engineering experience * Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across React/Next.js and Node.js * Experience designing and consuming REST APIs with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) * Cloud infrastructure experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP * Comfortable in CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, Docker, or similar) * Strong async communication skills for a fully remote team * U.S. Citizen (required for federal contract eligibility) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into production applications * Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, multi\-step workflow orchestration, or tool\-use frameworks * Exposure to federal software environments: FedRAMP, NIST 800\-53, or ATO documentation * Python for backend or data pipeline work * Prior startup or small business experience * Active or previous Secret clearance **What We Offer** * Fully remote, no return\-to\-office mandates * Mission\-driven work serving federal agencies and commercial operators * AI\-native stack \- you'll work with agentic AI at the application layer from day one * Direct access to CPO, Director of Engineering, and executive leadership * Competitive salary \+ full benefits (health, dental, vision) * Clear growth path into senior, lead, and principal roles * Paid holidays and time off Pay: Up to $105,000\.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On\-th
