Key Account Manager - Agricultural Equipment Location: Remote; must reside in TN, KY, or North Alabama Territory: Tennessee, Kentucky & North Alabama Salary: $65,000–$80,000 base + Uncapped Commission (1st-yr OTE $110,000–$135,000) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; 401(k) w/ 4% match; PTO; Cell phone & Laptop, Company vehicle Job Type: Full-Time Travel: 60%–75% (mostly by car; some air for trade shows) Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not availableKey Account Manager DescriptionOur client in agricultural equipment manufacturing is looking for a Key Account Manager to add to their team across TN, KY, and North Alabama. You will own relationships with high-volume retail locations, making ~50 store stops monthly to check merchandising, train new associates, reconcile inventory counts, and solve operational issues on the spot. You’ll be the first call for store leaders in receiving, lawn & garden, and power equipment, coordinating deliveries and product setups during peak seasons. The ideal candidate thrives in the field, communicates clearly face-to-face, and enjoys hands-on problem-solving in a retail environment. To succeed, you must self-manage a rolling visit plan, capture crisp visit recaps, and drive market-level improvements with store and internal partners. This role offers high autonomy in a family-owned, no-frills culture with uncapped commission and a long-standing brand sold through national and regional retailers, with ongoing expansion into larger big-box channels.Key Account Manager ResponsibilitiesManage weekly, monthly, and quarterly visits to assigned retail locations • Serve as the primary escalation point for product, inventory, and operational issues • Support new product launches, deliveries, and in-store setup activities • Perform inventory counts and reconcile findings with retailer reports • Build relationships with store managers, receiving teams, and lawn and garden departments • Identify and drive operational and merchandising improvements at the market level • Train retail associates on product knowledge and display execution • Provide consistent visit reporting, insights, and field feedback to leadership Key Account Manager Qualifications3+ years of Sales or Account Management experience required • Farm or outdoor power equipment familiarity required • Mechanical aptitude requiredOriginally posted on Himalayas
