This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing campaigns and experiences to life, while also understanding how to measure success and optimize performance.You’ll play a critical role in delivering memorable brand experiences, driving pipeline through events, and supporting cross-channel marketing campaigns.What You’ll Do:Event Execution & ManagementPlan and execute Sonatype’s presence at regional eventsCoordinate logistics including booth setup, vendors, shipping, swag, and on-site executionSupport creative event experiences (games, activations, demos)Manage timelines, budgets, and project plans for eventsPartner with sales to ensure strong pre-event outreach and post-event follow-upSupport post-event follow-up coordination to maximize pipeline conversionEvent Performance & MetricsTrack key event metrics such as:Leads captured and meetings booked onsiteConversion of leads to opportunities and pipelineAssist in building post-event recap reports with insights and recommendationsWork with marketing ops to ensure accurate lead tracking and campaign attribution in SalesforceIdentify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall event impact Social Media & Event PromotionSupport pre-event promotion through social media Execute live event coverage (e.g., posting from the floor, highlighting booth activity, sharing key moments)Draft and schedule posts across platforms such as LinkedIn and X (Twitter)Capture and coordinate event content (photos, short videos, highlights) for real-time and post-event useTrack basic social performance metrics (engagement, impressions) tied to event campaignsOperational ExcellenceMaintain event documentation, run-of-show plans, and checklistsManage vendor relationships and contractsEnsure brand consistency across all marketing and event touchpointsTrack inventory and manage marketing assets and swagWhat You Bring:2+ years of experience in marketing, events, or field marketingExperience supporting trade shows, conferences, or corporate eventsStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWillingness to travel (~20–30%)Nice to Have:Experience in B2B tech or cybersecurityFamiliarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or marketing automation platformsExperience working closely with sales teams on event-driven pipelineCreative mindset with an eye for experiential marketingThings that we are proud of2025 AI Compliance Solution of the Year - AI Breakthrough Awards2025 DEVIES Award to our SBOM Manager new product for its innovation and impact in developer technology2024 Industry Leader in Forrester-Wave for Software Composition Analysis (2024 Q4 report)2023 Fast Company Best Places for Innovators2023 Gartner's Magic Quadrant2023 Software Report's Top 100 Software Companies2023 BuiltIn Best Places to Work2022 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Leader Award2022 PeerSpot Silver Peer Award in Software Composition Analysis2022 Tech Ascension Best DevOps Security Solution Award2022 NVCT Cyber Company of the YearCompany Wellness Week - We shut down company operations for a week to enable all employees to pursue personal growth and enjoy a much-needed and deserved rest.
