Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deputy Program Manager to support and lead day-to-day program operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuity in the Program Manager's absence. This role focuses on team coordination, performance tracking, reporting, and compliance within a fast-paced federal environment.
Key Responsibilities:Act as the Program Manager backup, ensuring uninterrupted program executionManage daily team coordination, schedules, and action item trackingPrepare and deliver status reports, PMR presentations, and executive briefingsTrack and report KPIs and SLA metrics (SS-1 to SS-23)Oversee staffing activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and clearance verificationCoordinate transition activities aligned with PWS requirementsSupport quality management processes, including audits and corrective action plans (CAPs)
Skills Required:Must possess an active secret clearance.Strong experience in project/program management, preferably in federal/DoD programsExcellent coordination, scheduling, and reporting skillsProficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and ServiceNowSolid understanding of KPI tracking, SLA management, and performance reportingStrong stakeholder communication and documentation skillsExperience in staffing coordination and security clearance processesFamiliarity with quality management frameworks and audit processesAbility to work in classified environmentsPMP or CAPM certification is required
Preferred Certifications:Active TS/SCI ClearanceDoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I (Security+, CAP, or equivalent) ITIL 4 Foundation certification Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
