Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Remote

**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech\-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team remotely, supporting speech therapy services across Alaska. We are a small teletherapy company that services only Alaska school districts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with licensed speech\-language pathologists to deliver high\-quality, client\-centered therapy to students with various communication needs. Your expertise will help facilitate language development, support speech and language disorders, and contribute to meaningful progress in clients’ communication skills. This position offers a flexible remote work environment, allowing you to make a positive impact from anywhere while engaging in rewarding pediatric and school\-based therapy. All therapy sessions are conducted over Zoom. Therapy services will be provided during a school day from 8:00aAKST to 3:30pAKST. **Duties** * Assist licensed speech\-language pathologists in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans for clients, including those with early intervention needs and school\-aged children. * Support clients during telehealth therapy sessions by facilitating activities, providing reinforcement, and ensuring engagement. * Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, client progress notes, and communication logs in compliance with organizational policies. * Support clients with diverse needs * Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for clients with language disorders or speech sound disorders within the framework of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). **Skills** * Proven experience working with children and students with disabilities in educational or clinical settings. * Strong understanding of child language development, speech disorders support, and early intervention strategies. * Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote speech\-language therapy effectively. * Excellent client communication skills to build rapport and motivate clients during therapy sessions. * Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. An SLPA Alaska Professional license is required for the position.
