Small errors have real consequences. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to own and grow the automated testing that keeps our voice AI platform reliable.You will build and maintain automated test coverage across backend and frontend, create automation that places and validates real test calls end to end, and measure the accuracy of the speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) layers that make the platform work. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where your testing directly protects real users.WHAT YOU WILL DOBackend and Frontend Test AutomationBuild and maintain automated test coverage across backend services and the frontend, ensuring new features ship without breaking existing behaviour.Integrate tests into CI pipelines so quality checks run automatically on every change.Work with engineers to turn real-world failures into permanent regression tests.Voice Pipeline and Call AutomationBuild and run outbound-call automation that places test calls through the live voice pipeline, simulates realistic caller scenarios, and validates the platform's behaviour from start to finish.Test the speech-to-text (STT) layer — measuring transcription accuracy and how reliably the platform understands callers.Test the text-to-speech (TTS) layer — validating pronunciation, naturalness, and that the voice output behaves correctly.Run regression testing across multiple conversation flows and catch behavioural drift after changes.Quality Evaluation and Defect ManagementEvaluate calls against conversational quality dimensions — accuracy, tone, flow adherence, understanding, hand-off between stages, summaries, outcome handling, call control, and avoiding unnecessary repetition.Reproduce, document, and track defects through to resolution, writing clear reproduction steps from real call examples.Work with engineers, prompt authors, and the operations team to identify quality issues and build permanent test coverage around them.RequirementsESSENTIAL4+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation or software testing with a strong automation focus.Strong hands-on Python — you write, debug and maintain test scripts daily, not occasionally.Experience writing and maintaining automated test suites across both API and UI layers.Comfortable testing REST APIs and working with structured data (JSON).Experience with automated web and UI testing frameworks.Familiarity with version-control workflows (Git) and continuous-integration pipelines — you have integrated automated tests into CI/CD.Solid grasp of QA methodology — test design, regression strategy, and the defect lifecycle.Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication.Comfortable working remotely and aligning to UK business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT/BST).DESIRABLEExposure to voice or conversational AI testing — metrics such as transcription accuracy (WER), naturalness scoring, or response latency.Experience with automated or AI-assisted response evaluation.Telephony or real-time audio and voice testing experience.Experience working with data to gather and verify test evidence programmatically.Experience in regulated software environments where quality assurance and compliance processes are important.Experience working with distributed or remote teams across multiple time zones.LOGISTICSEducation: We value skills and experience over formal qualifications.Working arrangements: Fully remote from India, aligned to UK business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT/BST).Start date: Flexible.BenefitsWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive package depending on experiencePotential share optionsProfessional development including conference attendance and CPD supportThe opportunity to own test automation for a live voice AI platform at one of the UK's fastest-growing healthtech companiesRemote working with a collaborative, high-ownership engineering cultureDirect collaboration with engineering, AI/ML and product teamsHOW WE ARE DIFFERENTAt QuantumLoopAI, you will join a team that is building AI-powered products used by hundreds of organisations across the UK.
