**Bookkeeper** ============== **Location:** Los Angeles, CA 90036 (On\-Site) **Compensation:** $80,000–$90,000 annually **Schedule:** Full\-Time \| **On\-Site Only (No Remote or Hybrid)** **The Hire Mark** is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well\-established importer and wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, seeking an experienced **Bookkeeper** to join their team in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands\-on accounting professional who can work independently, oversee an offshore accounting support team, and take ownership of the company's day\-to\-day financial operations. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Manage full\-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting operations * Maintain accurate financial records using **QuickBooks Desktop** * Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable * Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations * Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with month\-end and year\-end close * Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger * Manage inventory accounting and reconcile inventory transactions * Coordinate with the company's outside CPA for tax preparation and year\-end reporting * Monitor cash flow and ensure timely vendor payments * Supervise and coordinate an offshore bookkeeping/accounting support team * Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy * Provide financial reporting and support to company leadership **Qualifications** ------------------ * **5\+ years of full\-cycle bookkeeping experience required** * **Expert\-level QuickBooks Desktop experience is required** * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Experience managing or coordinating offshore accounting or bookkeeping staff * Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting * Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail * Strong Microsoft Excel skills ### **Preferred Experience** * Accounting experience within an **importing, wholesale, distribution, or e\-commerce business** * Inventory accounting experience * Experience supporting multi\-channel sales operations is highly desirable **Compensation \& Benefits** ---------------------------- * **$80,000–$90,000 annual salary** * Paid Time Off * Health benefits * Paid holidays * Stable, long\-term opportunity with a growing company * Opportunity to play a key role in the company's accounting operations
