Job Description
**Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Corporate Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations and ensure seamless compensation processes across the organization. This vital role involves managing payroll systems, maintaining compliance with tax and accounting regulations, and collaborating with HR and finance teams to deliver accurate, timely payroll services. **Responsibilities**
* Oversee end\-to\-end payroll processing using advanced payroll software such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, or Ceridian, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Manage payroll data entry, account reconciliation, and journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
* Administer employee benefits programs, including deductions, contributions, and tax filings related to payroll.
* Collaborate with human resources to ensure proper onboarding, offboarding, and updates to employee records within HRIS systems.
* Conduct detailed analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and prepare reports for management review.
* Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations affecting payroll; ensure compliance with governmental reporting requirements.
* Support audits related to payroll and benefits administration by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Assist in the integration of new payroll software or updates to existing systems while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
**Requirements**
* Proven experience managing payroll processes using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
* Strong understanding of payroll management principles combined with knowledge of corporate accounting practices including general ledger accounting and double entry bookkeeping.
* Proficiency in financial software applications including accounting software for bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable management, and tax reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately while handling complex calculations involving debits \& credits and journal entries.
* Excellent analysis skills with the ability to reconcile accounts and perform account reconciliation efficiently.
* Knowledge of benefits administration procedures along with experience in non\-profit accounting is advantageous.
* Familiarity with governmental accounting standards related to payroll taxes and compliance requirements.
* Strong technical skills in human resources information systems (HRIS), accounting software, and financial analysis tools.
* Exceptional attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for collaborating across departments.
