Job Description

About ELVTRELVTR is an online education company building premium live online courses taught by top executives and industry experts. We are dedicated to transforming the online education industry by providing innovative course offerings. We operate across Sales, Marketing, Production, Instructor Sourcing, Student Support, Finance, Creative, and Engineering. We are building a new product function that starts with AI-native internal tools and grows into products our students use directly. Why This Role ExistsAI development tools have changed who gets to build software. Writing code is no longer the bottleneck. The bottleneck is understanding the real business problem, inventing the right product, writing an airtight specification, and making sure people actually use what gets shipped. You will work AI-native from day one — Claude, Claude Code, and similar tools are your core workflow, not an add-on. And you will ship to real users fast: internal teams within weeks and, as your scope grows, ELVTR students. Shipping is not the finish line either: a tool that internal teams ignore is a failed product, so driving adoption is one of your top priorities. What You Will BuildYou will start with internal tools and workflow products across the company. Examples may include:AI-powered instructor sourcing toolsPayment, invoice, and Stripe/HubSpot workflowsSales automation tools and internal dashboardsProduction planning and course launch toolsAI agents for repetitive operational tasksTools for Creative, Marketing, Finance, Student Support, and Tech SupportWorkflow automation across HubSpot, Stripe, Workable, Google Workspace, Airtable, Asana, n8n, Zapier, Supabase, Vercel, or similar systemsYour scope will grow into student-facing products. Most of this surface is greenfield: the student platform experience, AI learning tools, enrollment and payment flows, and career and outcome tools. Internal tools are how you earn that scope; student products are where it leads. What You Will Do1. Discover real business problemsYou will interview stakeholders, observe workflows, ask sharp questions, and identify the real operational bottleneck behind a request.2. Design product solutionsYou will turn business pain into practical product concepts: user flows, workflow logic, feature sets, data requirements, edge cases, and launch plans. For student-facing work you will also own UX and UI, using AI design tools, with support from our Creative team on key decisions.3. Write deep specifications using AIYou will use AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code to produce detailed, development-ready PRDs and technical specifications — airtight enough that an engineer can build from them without guessing, and a stakeholder can validate them without translating.4. Prototype products yourselfYou do not need to be a traditional full-stack developer, but you must be comfortable building or assembling prototypes and working tools with AI-assisted development. Relevant tools include Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, n8n, Zapier, Airtable, Supabase, Vercel, and the Google Workspace stack.5. Work with engineers for complex buildsFor more complex projects, you will work with the CTO and software engineers who handle serious backend work, APIs, data architecture, security, payments, and production-grade implementation. You will still own the product layer: the problem, the spec, the scope, the roadmap, the acceptance criteria, and user validation.6. Drive adoption — a top priority of this roleYou will not stop when the code works. For internal tools, driving adoption by internal teams is one of the top priorities of this role. You will train users, remove friction, retire the old way of doing things, measure usage, collect feedback, write release notes, and iterate until your tool is the default way the work gets done. What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 90 days, you should be able to:understand several core ELVTR workflows across Sales, Production, Sourcing, Finance, and Operationsidentify high-value internal product opportunitieswrite strong specs for at least two priority toolsbuild or co-build at least one working internal prototypedrive real adoption of at least one shipped tool — measured by usage, not by launchmap the student journey end to end and build a rough prototype of one student-facing product conceptcreate a repeatable AI-native product development processRequirementsWe are looking for a strong Middle candidate with practical product and workflow experience. You should have:3+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Operations, RevOps, automation, or a similar roleexperience with n8n, Zapier, Supabase, or Vercelexperience with Claude, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codexability to prototype tools using AI-assisted developmentexperience interviewing business stakeholders and translating business needs into clear requirementsexperience writing PRDs, specs, user stories, workflow documentation, or acceptance c
