Accountant / Bookkeeper (Fixed Project)

This is a remote position.We are seeking a freelance Accountant or Bookkeeper to support a one-time, short-term project focused on preparing and filing year-end accounts for two entities. This role is ideal for someone experienced in working with early-stage businesses and handling low-volume financial data independently.Project ScopeReconcile transactions from bank statements and Stripe for both entitiesPrepare year-end financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) for a UK entity covering approximately six months of tradingPrepare equivalent financial statements for a Wyoming LLCFile accounts with Companies House (UK) and manage Wyoming state reporting requirementsProvide guidance on any applicable US federal filing obligationsWork with a low volume of transactions, including fewer than 30 B2B invoices and Stripe B2C dataWhat You’ll Work WithBank statements (provided)Invoice records (fewer than 30 B2B invoices)Stripe account access for transaction dataNo existing accounting software (manual setup required) RequirementsQualified Accountant or BookkeeperProven experience filing UK company accounts with Companies HouseFamiliarity with Wyoming LLC reporting requirements is a strong advantageExperience working with early-stage startups or small businessesStrong ability to work independently with minimal supervision Originally posted on Himalayas
