**Role Summary**
We're looking for a senior copywriter who specializes in emails and thinks like a strategist. From long\-form advertorial sequences to short\-form campaigns and automated lifecycle flows, you write email copy that converts—and you don't wait to be told where the opportunity is. You spot the gap, propose the test, and track the result. You'll work directly with our Director of Customer Lifecycle \& Revenue in a high\-growth DTC environment where your work directly impacts revenue.
**Job Duties \& Responsibilities**
* Craft persuasive product descriptions and compelling copy for our website to maximize conversion rates.
* Create persuasive short and long\-form product copy, advertorial\-style content, and landing pages for our email marketing campaigns and customer journeys to drive increased conversions, sales, and retention.
* Write and maintain transactional content associated with the website, including confirmation emails, fulfillment notifications, subscription notifications, etc.
* Craft upsell, cross\-sell, subscription, and loyalty campaign content to drive increased lifetime value (LTV) and retention.
* Work cross\-functionally with the SEO, content marketing, social media, and UX/UI teams to optimize strategies to increase traffic and conversions through landing page and lead magnet optimizations.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between copywriting efforts and overall marketing strategies.
* Utilize a deep understanding of the customer journey from initial website entry to optimize content and messaging, facilitating seamless navigation and guiding users towards conversion.
* Continuously analyze email performance, website traffic and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and refine copywriting strategies accordingly.
* Proactively develop and manage A/B and multivariate copy tests across email, landing pages, and product pages; analyze results and apply learnings to continuously improve performance.
* Contribute to marketing strategy development by identifying copy and messaging opportunities across the customer lifecycle and bringing forward proactive recommendations.
