QA Tester- Remote- Hartford, CT

Seeking an experienced Application Tester to support an integrated Criminal Justice Information (CJI) sharing system, ensuring system quality, security, and compliance with state and federal requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform system testing, UAT, requirements validation, and regression testing. * Create test cases, execute tests, document results, and report/manage defects. * Support defect resolution and provide testing process guidance. * Test new releases and validate requirements/traceability matrices. * Develop, maintain, and expand automation frameworks and test suites. * Integrate automated testing with DevOps and collaborate on framework architecture. * Prepare testing reports and presentations for project stakeholders. **Required Skills \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or related field. * **5–7 years of IT testing experience.** * Experience with **NIEM XML or complex XML standards**. * Manual web\-service testing using **SOAP UI/Postman**. * Experience with **SOA technologies** and complex **MS SQL queries**. * Proficiency in **C\# or Java**, scripting, and data\-driven automation testing. * Experience with **Extent Reports, GitHub, and automation frameworks**. * Strong understanding of large integrated systems and troubleshooting. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * IBM Rational Jazz Suite experience is a plus.
