Job Summary Strategic Analytics is a new, growing team at Arch. The team develops innovative predictive models and analytical tools to improve profitability and growth. This position will help support the technical needs of the Strategic Analytics team. The focus of the position is to create and support dashboards developed in Microsoft Power BI, R/Python, and other visualization software that will assist the business in uncovering actionable insights. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with business users, data engineers, and data scientists to provide customized visualizations that facilitate an interactive and user-friendly experience.Job Responsibilities Develop dashboards from a wireframe in Microsoft Power BIUnderstand the data and build complex data models in the visualization tool sufficing reporting needsDevelop SQL Scripts as needed to pull the data from various sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL Server, Snowflake) and transform as needed for reportingDevelop pixel perfect reports where appropriateBuild & support applications in Power Apps and integrate it with Power BIAutomation of various manual tasksResearch marketplace visuals and R/Python visuals to create new dashboard enhancementsMicrosoft Power BI regression testingUser Maintenance - adding new users and removing ones from the system. Keeping track and re-assigning licenses as neededPowerBI log analysisAbility to troubleshoot and maintain existing VBA scriptsMonitor email outputs from existing scripts and escalate as neededTechnical Skills: PowerBI, SQL, Power BI Report Builder/SSRS, Visualization Software, PowerAppsThe ideal candidate would have experience in developing and supporting visualization applications, and be aware on how to do build the data model in Power BI and have a very good understanding of Power query and DAX. Candidate should be able to do basic trouble-shooting and log analysis, root cause analysis, and coordination with multiple IT teams for supportPower BI is the main application that the candidate will be developing and supporting, and the ability to work with the users to make change requests and potentially design dashboards is idealCandidate with experience in building geomapping visualizations would be preferredCandidate should have intermediate experience building Paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder or prior experience in SSRS would be preferredIntermediate experience in building dashboards in Power BI embedded capacity or building BI solutions leveraging web technologies (JavaScript, Angular JS) would be plusIntermediate experience in Power Automate PlatformContinue to maintain the existing PowerBI dashboards and to add new features and functionality as requested by the SA team and the business usersAbility to clearly communicate across multiple teams, and the ability to communicate and escalate major issues when appropriateAbility to perform the tasks in Power BI with minimal assistanceCandidate should be willing to explore & research new tools and technologies based on the guidance from SA teamBS in Computer Science, Information Technology degree, Data Analytics or equivalentAGSI was incorporated in April 2016.
