Part-time Bookkeeper

Maintain accurate financial records: Record day\-to\-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments using accounting software or manual ledgers. ● Manage accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Follow up on overdue invoices and ensure timely collections. ● Reconcile bank statements: Compare and reconcile bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. ● Prepare financial reports: Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis to provide insights into the company's financial performance. ● Assist with budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, and assist in preparing financial forecasts to support decision\-making. ● Ensure compliance: Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax requirements and reporting obligations. ● Support audits: Assist in preparing documentation and providing support during internal and external audits. ● Provide financial analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process improvement. ● Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times. ● Support ad hoc financial tasks: Assist with special projects and financial tasks as assigned by management. ● Accurately process payroll using the company online payroll system. ● Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies. ● Maintain up\-to\-date employee payroll records and respond to payroll\-related inquiries. ● Prepare and distribute pay stubs and manage payroll adjustments, including deductions and benefits.
