You'll shape the vision and strategy for the team while scaling and optimizing Remote's Sales function.As a member of the Sales leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of work and make a personal impact in the HR tech industry — contributing to Remote's success as the #1 HR platform for global businesses.RequirementsDeep understanding of the HR Tech and HR Solutions industry with extensive B2B sales experienceSignificant experience leading and motivating layered management teamsProven Sales Leadership experience with a strong track record in people development, leadership, and coaching at a high-growth startupDemonstrated success building Sales teams in the AMER region with deep knowledge of the unique cultural aspects of selling in the marketInnovative mindset — takes initiative and proactively brings problems to VP/C-suite with potential solutionsAbility to design and execute a business plan to achieve revenue goals, determine growth strategy and align cross-functionally to drive company objectivesExceptional negotiation and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken EnglishRemote work experience is a plus but not requiredWillingness to "get in the trenches" by joining high-stakes discovery, demo, and closing calls. You lead by example, not by dashboard.Ability to achieve rapid subject matter expertise in our Payroll and HR Tech suite.Deeply comfortable with the "nitty-gritty" of sales operations, from territory mapping to rigorous pipeline inspection and hygieneLow Ego, High Impact: No task is too small; you are as comfortable drafting a follow-up email for a junior rep as you are presenting a 3-year growth strategy to the C-suiteKey responsibilitiesManage your regional sales organization to deliver outstanding growth outcomes for the business, reflected in strong and consistent quota attainmentDevelop sales strategy for your territory in conjunction with the CBO, your colleagues in Sales leadership and key cross-functional partners including Customer Experience and MarketingDesign and implement initiatives to accelerate new business generation, improve customer retention and drive expansion revenuePartner closely with the colleagues in Marketing and Sales Development to drive the inbound and outbound lead flow need to fuel new business and support regional growth objectivesCollaborate with Finance and Sales Operations to design quota and compensation mechanics which motivate and drive exceptional sales outcomesIdentify enhancements to processes, systems and tooling that will increase the efficiency and productivity of your sales teams.
