We are looking for someone who combines EHS technical knowledge with expertise in adult learning, program management, management systems, and leadership strengths. The ideal candidate will have well developed skills in project management on large scale programs, have leadership experience related to professional training programs, and strong capabilities to build and lead cross-functional teams. In addition, you will be responsible to:Lead global EHS training program, including working with internal subject matter experts and external consultants to coordinate training development and maintenance, manage global training matrices, and liaise with the 3M global training organization and system of record. Lead translation work process.Consult with the division leadership team and internal clients to set and execute strategic direction, operating plans, and guidelines/methods for the EHS management system.Initiate and approve projects to continuously improve training efficiency, effectiveness, translation, and manage the management system to an approved annual budget.Lead document management, SharePoint, and internal standards development processes, with a focus on improvement and sustainability. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.Five (5) years of experience leading training programs in a private, public, government or military environment.Ten (10) years of experience leading management systems programs in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Five (5)+ years experience in participating in or leading environment, health, safety, programs for a manufacturing or product development organization.Five (5)+ years combined supervisory, management, and project leadership experience.Experience leading cross-functional teams and improvement programs.Strong demonstration of project management skills and ability to manage activities and resources to achieve targets and objectives.Experience working with Learning and Document Management Systems.Strategic thinker, high attention to detail, process-oriented, ability to develop and maintain good working relations with clients, ability to communicate (multi-lingual a plus) broadly, clear/concise writing ability and data documentation style, self-starter.Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/internationalLocation: Remote USMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.To comply with these laws, 3M must help assess candidates' U.S. person status.The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only.
