Managing billions in media, our dynamic team––of consultative marketers, creatives, analysts and technologists––challenge traditional ways of planning and measurement through meticulous testing and data science across each milestone of the customer journey.***Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role.A day in the life:The Paid Media Strategist is responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of Paid Media advertising campaigns within their book of business. They are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying their efforts to the greater business goals. They are self-starters and autonomously own their responsibilities. The Strategist works hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of their service within the broader media mix. They are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. The Strategist is excellent at providing insights and forward thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and has a strong understanding of their service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance.Responsibilities:Manage paid search campaigns across clients of various business types, sizes, and industries, including daily optimizations and high-level strategy changesProvide intelligent analysis, interpretation, and action plans based on campaign performance data and data from client-specific source of truth (e.g. GA, Shopify, etc.)Participate and engage in weekly department scrums and training sessions to further channel knowledgeContinuously seek to improve campaign performance against client goalsMaintain frequent and excellent communication both on internal agency teams and externally with assigned clientsSeek to utilize available AI and outsource resources to assist in their workflow wherever possibleParticipate in the development process for new department training materialsEmploy AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processesUtilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your departmentRequirements:2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1+ years in an agency settingMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine MarketingSpecifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy developmentSignificant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types:Performance MaxStandard ShoppingYouTube AdsDisplay AdvertisingLocal campaignsBing AdsProficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)Proficiency in Google AnalyticsStrong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnelOther skills required:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management skills.Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed.
