Technology Enablement & Technical Documentation Intern

Leidos Chief Information Office Services (CIO Services) is the internal Information Technology (IT) delivery organization supporting 50,000 employees globally and the customers that Leidos serves. CIO Services is seeking a Technology Enablement & Technical Documentation Intern who will help translate complex cloud and infrastructure capabilities into clear, usable, and scalable documentation that improves productivity across sectors. The successful candidate will work alongside cloud engineers, architects, and process specialists to document solutions, standardize best practices, and enhance knowledge sharing across CIO Services.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with cloud engineers and specialists to document architectures and solutions deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft AzureDevelop and maintain technical documentation including:Architecture overviewsImplementation guidesStandard operating procedures (SOPs)Knowledgebase articlesProcess workflowsSupport SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices by documenting team processes, ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiativesTranslate infrastructure-as-code and cloud configurations into clear written guidance and reusable documentation templatesIdentify repeatable patterns in cloud deployments and create standardized documentation to promote consistency and reuseAssist in improving internal knowledge repositories, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to dateBasic Qualifications:Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programUs citizenship requiredCumulative GPA: 3.3 or aboveFoundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Basic familiarity with scripting or programming conceptsUnderstanding of operating systems (Windows or Linux)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage tasks on schedule Preferred Qualifications:Experience creating technical documentation or process documentationFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts (CloudFormation, Terraform)Exposure to Agile or SAFe methodologiesExperience with documentation tools, collaboration platforms, or knowledge management systemsAWS or Azure coursework or certification a plusIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
