Location:
We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Gurgaon, India. This position is based remotely on the US East Coast with the opportunity for in-office days at our New York office if the hire is local.
About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven seller to join our growing team. The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining relationships with brands, creative agencies, production companies, and other clients to drive the licensing of our premium video content. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with experience in the creative media or video licensing industry. This role reports to the Head of Licensing.
This is an individual contributor role that will drive lead generation and conversion from advertising clients.
About you:
You are a self-starter, a sales professional with experience in creative media or video licensing industry and a passion for the creative industry.
Day to day Responsibilities:Client Acquisition & Management:Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, creative agencies, production companies, and other potential clientsBuild, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clientsSales Strategy & Execution:Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targetsDevelop tailored licensing solutions to meet client needs, emphasizing the value of our video content library Negotiate licensing agreements and contracts with a focus on securing long-term relationships and maximizing revenue‘Umbrella’ Deal Development & Activation:Secure large-scale licensing agreements and network agency contracts to be preferred vendor for UGC video and clearance servicesStrategically activate these deals with your peers across sister agencies and divisions, ensuring maximum utilization and revenue generationEvangelizing UGC & Industry Leadership:Educate clients, especially brands and agencies, on the value and power of UGC in storytelling, campaigns, and creative workPresent compelling use cases, data, and creative solutions to help agencies and brands integrate UGC into their strategiesAct as a thought leader, participating in discussions, workshops, and events to position our company as a leader in UGC-driven licensing solutionsYou have: 3+ years working with Brand & Agency clients in the US east coastProven sales experience in video licensing, media sales, or a related field Knowledge of UGC, its benefits, challenges, etc.Understanding of licensing models, creative media industries, and client needsExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsA self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneouslyExperience working with internal systems (Salesforce) to track sales activities and performanceKey Attributes:Motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for the creative industryAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentAn existing network in the advertising, creative agency, or media production industries is highly desirableOriginally posted on Himalayas
