Our commitment to excellence and exceptional client service defines our approach to every project.JOB SUMMARYFacility Assessor I provides data-driven insights for maintaining building infrastructure. The assessor will conduct detailed assessments of all systems and components associated with facilities and structures, contributing to short- and long-term strategies that align operational efficiency with sound investment decisions and budget priorities.DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE), evaluating all systems and components associated with facilities and structures, to determine operating efficiency, capacity, and remaining life expectancy2.If hired after internship, travel to remote CONUS and OCONUS sites (25% monthly, up to 50% based on project needs) to perform facility condition assessments and gather detailed data
3.Utilize proprietary software tools via computers, iPads, or tablets to input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data.
4.Develop and validate work plan items, translating field-collected data into actionable work packages for CMMS Facilities Management (FM)
5.Ensure data accuracy through systematic updates, validations, and detailed reporting.
6.Generate inventory condition reports and technical updates for facilities newly added to the client portfolio.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & ABILITIES1.Expertise in conducting data-driven facility assessments, including evaluation of all systems and components of facilities and structures.
2.Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate field data into actionable recommendations for facilities management.
3.Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver critical project milestones efficiently.
4.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to leverage iOS-based tools for reporting and data entry.
5.Ability to produce clear, detailed reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6.Demonstrated success thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments, both independently and collaboratively.
7.Strong written and verbal communication skills for team and client interactions.
8.Organized, detail-oriented approach to data accuracy, validation, and reporting.QUALIFICATIONS, PREFERENCES & REQUIREMENTS1.High school diploma required.
2.Certifications in construction technologies, such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour or BPI.
3.Minimum of one year of technical experience conducting assessments and analyses of systems and components associated with facilities and structures within real property assets.
4.Experience creating comprehensive reports with actionable, engineering-based recommendations preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires frequent standing, walking, and moving around construction sites or facilities, sometimes on uneven or hazardous terrain. The candidate must be able to climb ladders, access confined spaces, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for performing inspections and handling tools or equipment. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment is dynamic and includes both office settings and field locations, such as active construction sites or operational facilities. Candidates may be exposed to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and potential safety hazards. Strict adherence to OSHA standards, safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are required. Travel to different sites and flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be necessary to meet project deadlines and client needs. This position may also be eligible for remote work, in which case a suitable home workspace is required to support effective job performance.
