Job Description
Arise support agents are independent contractors who provide remote customer service, sales, or tech support for major client brands. Operating as small businesses, agents choose their own schedules, clients, and working hour
Core Responsibilities
* **Customer Support:** Handle inbound and outbound calls, live chats, or emails to assist customers.
* **Issue Resolution:** Troubleshoot technical issues, process orders, handle returns, and resolve complaints.
* **Policy Explanation:** Explain client policies, warranty details, or service coverages.
* **Record Keeping:** Update customer records, fill out forms, and document transactions accurately.
* **Metric Adherence:** Maintain high customer satisfaction scores, average handle times, and strict adherence to your committed schedules.
Essential Requirements
* **Age \& Location:** Must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States (excluding a few restricted states like CA, NY, and WI).
* **Background Check:** Must pass a standard background check and potentially a drug test.
* **Equipment:** A home office with a hardwired, high\-speed internet connection and a computer meeting specific operating system and processor requirements.
* **Certification:** Agents must successfully complete a client\-specific certification course (which can take a few weeks) before taking live customer interactions
**Qualifications**
* Technical \& Workspace QualificationsYour home office must meet strict requirements outlined in the official Arise System and Equipment Policy: \[1]
* **Computer:** A desktop or laptop running a genuine copy of **Windows 11**. Chromebooks, MacBooks, tablets, and All\-in\-One PCs are **not supported**.
* **Specs:** A minimum of **4 GB of RAM** (8 GB recommended) and an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 (or better) processor.
* **Internet:** A **hardwired Ethernet connection**. Wi\-Fi is strictly prohibited. Your speeds must be at least **10 Mbps download** and **3 Mbps upload**.
* **Peripherals:** A hardwired **USB noise\-canceling headset** for class/servicing, a smartphone for multi\-factor authentication, and a dedicated workspace free of background noise
Pay: $12\.00 \- $16\.00 per hour
