This is a fully remote position with the Virtual Hospital Medicine team supporting hospitals across the Greater Charlotte Region. The schedule consists of a **7 on / 7 off** swing rotation, including rotating weekends and holidays. The APP will provide 100% adult inpatient medicine services through a combination of virtual admissions, inpatient rounding, and cross\-coverage responsibilities.

The Carolinas Hospitalist Group is looking for an APP to join our Virtual Hospital Medicine Swing team supporting hospitals across the Greater Charlotte Region.**
**Position Details**
Virtual Hospital Medicine APP position
Swing work schedule: **7 on / 7 off**
Rotating weekends and holidays
Perform virtual admissions, inpatient rounding, and cross\-coverage responsibilities
100% inpatient adult medicine
Utilizes Advocate Health’s virtual care platform to provide remote clinical support across multiple Greater Charlotte Region hospitals
Collaborative practice with Hospital Medicine physicians, bedside APPs, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams
Epic electronic medical record
**Experience Required**
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Nurse Practitioners must hold a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice with **Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP or AGACNP)** board certification
Physician Assistants must hold certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina
Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license
BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA) certification must be valid at least 90 days beyond start date
Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or other acute inpatient experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast\-paced, high\-acuity environment with strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform thorough history and physical assessments
Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience utilizing Epic electronic medical record preferred
