You will excel in creative writing, leveraging a strong conceptual mind and effective storytelling to solve complex communication challenges. You will demonstrate an insatiable curiosity by immersing yourself in the brand and the business – reviewing brand imperatives, market research, analytics data, clinical data, and more. You will then work closely with the CX lead to develop insights and content strategy for our healthcare clients. The Copy Lead is responsible for overseeing all copy assignments for the agency, all creative client-facing requirements and mentoring the growing in-house copy and editorial team. You will be accountable for managing all writing assignments, reviewing work, and guiding edits to ensure compelling results for both client and internal marketing efforts. Additionally, you will provide in-house expertise in brand strategy, writing for high science topics, and promotional content marketing. You must have a deep understanding of writing for functionality and UX, and are skilled at crafting concise, compelling prose.Duties / Responsibilities:You have a passion for crafting elegant and effective copy that engages a broad spectrum of audiences You possess exceptional communication skills that translate customer needs into impactful experiences that engage effortlessly across all healthcare channels You advocate for the audience, motivated by the need to create content that provides the audience with the information they need, and inspires them to take action You enjoy capturing and interpreting input directly from clients and from cross-functional teams to create better content You inspire and guide a team of creatives to produce award-winning work You critically evaluate the marketing strategy of healthcare brands across the product lifecycle You are well-versed in today’s best practices in content strategy and content marketing Write with an empathy for a range of audiences • Creating content for client projects• Generation of creative briefs Mining for content insights from briefs, market research, and analytics findings Researching all relevant topics on market, product, indication & disease state Websites, email, social media, digital sales aids, display ad campaigns, print marketing materials Originate fresh, innovative concepts, campaigns and tactics to solve clients’ business problems; participate in brainstorming and creative workgroups to conceptualize new work Transform conceptual ideas into purposeful, effective, engaging copy content across multiple platforms; write engaging, persuasive copy, based on recommended keyword strategy Be a strong advocate for consistent brand messaging Strategic and tactical brand planning; including running brand workshops Be knowledgeable about appropriate research techniques and disciplines Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team in troubleshooting & problem-solving Collaborate with the UX & design team to craft impactful experiences Oversee the editorial team to ensure the integrity & standards of our writing remains intact Present creative work confidently to all stakeholders; validating copy choices and explaining strategic & users’ rationale Meet communication objectives within challenging time constraints on multiple project deadlines while remaining on budget Contribute to business development initiatives, including writing promotional pieces in multichannel media, eg. pitch & capability decks, case studies, showreels Create and maintain well-organized manuscripts that increase team efficiencies, and clear guidance for client, account, UX, design and development teams Demonstrate a firm understanding of corporate identity and branding • Assist with Award submissions Conceive and execute the agency marketing plan, which could include Ads, (print & digital), blog articles, press releases, POVs/white papers, social media Conference materials, including presentation decks Manage, mentor and grow the copy and editorial team Skills and Qualifications: BA degree in an industry-related subject (e.g., biology, neuroscience, chemistry, psychology, copywriting, journalism) At least 5+ years of experience in writing for pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing 2+ years of experience in a digital agency environment Exceptional
